About Us - Our People

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to some of our key people. They are the reason why choosing Bright Futures is so easy and why Bright Futures children have so much fun in our care.

Every one of us came to Bright Futures with qualifications in early childhood education (with the exception of the administrators) and keep up-to-speed on the needs of children, families and the solution home-based care offers through the likes of training and reading. It is not often that you will find us sitting still – we are always out in the homes with the children and the carers or hosting the playgroups and outings.

That is why we believe our people are the experts at providing home-based childcare.

What she loves about children:
"The way that children learn excites me! When adults/teachers can observe tamariki at play (i.e. their work!), and allow them to work at their own pace, we set them up for a love of learning for the rest of their lives.  I like to treat children the way I would like to be treated when I am learning a new skill - with time, space, and support if required."

What she loves about Bright Futures:
"It is a privilege to regularly visit Bright Futures' educarers in their homes as they care for and educate other people's children.  It is most rewarding to observe children's progress as they are nurtured in a home-based early childhood setting."
